PSY’s All-killer Gentleman

SONG PREVIEW: Sesh, so Gangnam Style!

After 2 replays:  hhhmmmkay…

SONG RELEASED: ahhh… let’s see. MV Please!

MV RELEASED: [sway sway push push] yeeeeeeah!

On April 13, 2013 the crowd had become more hyper when PSY released the official music video of his new single GENTLEMAN on youtube hitting 6,901,112 (as of 4.14.12) and counting.

When the song was released, people went from what? to ok to fine, let’s wait for the MV;  expecting something more stellar than Gangnam Style.  An article published by JPop Asia on April 12, 2013, the song achieved an  ALL-KILL upon its release and ” topping all 9 of South Korea’s real team music charts“.

The music video is hilarious, which is very PSY.  It tells a joke out of  being a gentleman or how a gentleman should be. I honestly  can compare the song to Gangnam Style. But I will be very honest also, that I find this song very catchy because of the club mix beat and the.. oh well.. dance steps.

The listeners and fans reactions are a mix of everything. Of course, with Gangnam Style turning over the world, PSY is expected to release something fresh and more marvelous than his first single.

I’d say again, this may not become a global hit, but this song will have its place internationally.

PSY on being a GENTLEMAN

On April 12, 2013  PSY will be releasing his new single entitled “GENTLEMAN” in 119 countries.

Ambitious much? Well after he’s infected the world with his Gangnam Style, who knows? According to an article from JPop Asia, this is to determine if PSY is a one-hit wonder or a real global star.

I’ve listened to the 30 second preview of the song. And to me it sounds like his first song; Gangnam Style, though there’s sort of club mix beat that can be inviting.

The 30 second preview highlights the lyrics “I’m a Mother Father Gentleman” (or at least it sounds like a “Father”). At first heard I judged it right away and even posted on facebook that I doubt it’s going to hit its target and the song is next to nonsense. But I guess, I have judged it so easily, because when I tried to listen to it over and over,  I’ve realized that the song can be very addicting because of the beat. What I think now is, this may cannot be a global sensation, but can be a club house favorite.

It can be a hit or a miss. We’ll never know until tomorrow. But I wish PSY the best of luck for this new single.

Dire Bonjour à Cheese French Toast!

This is really simple. The first time I’ve heard the name, I was scared because it might need more utensils and ingredients. But when my aunt told me it’s gonna as easy as frying eggs. I said YAY! 😀

Here it is. And by the way, the “cheese” part, is my own twist. Just wanna try if it’d work with it. And it did!

Sliced Bread

Cheese Spread

  • Beat eggs with the cheese spread.
  • Spread on sliced bread a hint of butter. Then dip it in the beaten eggs.
  • You can use a microwave oven to toast. Or use a frying pan.
  •  If using a frying pan, put butter into. Make sure that the entire surface will be buttered or else the bread will stick into it and worse burn the bread. 😀
  • Make sure both sides of the bread will be toasted. Then serve.

Been learning how to prepare food for the past few days. This is to prove myself that I may not have the talent, but I’ve got the interest. Haha!

Re-alive!: The Easter Sunday Special at Tadyaw Beach Resort and Spa, Tolosa, Leyte

Tadyaw, a jar made out of clay; that is what the name is in English.

But what’s in Tadyaw and it’s one of the most visited beach resorts in Tolosa, Leyte?

That used to be my question until my eyes wandered around the beautiful and happy place.

It’s easy!  Tadyaw is just along the way. Just don’t get confuse with the roads going Ormoc and Maasin, because the two will lead you to different ways. 😀

Private Ride

  • From Tacloban City it’d only take a 30 to 45 minute drive.
  • Drive to Palo, Leyte then once in Palo, take the Maasin way. You’ll know you’re in Palo town proper when you reach the Cathedral. (Note that going Ormoc (right) is a different way than Maasin(left).)
  • Once in Tanauan crossing, take the way to the town proper which will lead you to Tolosa. (In that crossing area the right side road is going Dagami/Burauen while the left side is your way to Tolosa/Mayorga).
  • Tolosa is just a few minutes away from Tanauan town proper. Just drive straight ahead.
  • If this ‘how to’ of mine failed, check google map. It’s easier! 😀  Or better yet, ask. Nothing to worry about, waray-waray’s are very nice and they’ll help you willingly! 😉

Public Transpo

  • From Tacloban City it’s a 45 minute to almost an hour ride.  Ride a jeepney going Tolosa or Mayorga. Both are passing by the place. Fair from the city proper is only 15php (Philippine peso).
  • If you’re not sure of what you’re doing (which is so like me! haha), ask the konduktor or driver. Then they’ll drop you off at Tadyaw.

If you really are craving for some beach fresh air and cool salty water and fun and peace and beauty… then Tadyaw is perfect for you! They also cater events from simple, small occasions to weddings and reunions and organization events at a very sensible price! Our cottage is only for 1,200php good for 10 people with free entrance. You can also bring in food without the corkage fee and charges and everything. Which some resorts don’t actually accommodate.  But if you hate the loads of bringing your own food, they have a restaurant and a grille where you can order.

Hyper fact:  I just want to say that their staff’s uniform is super cool!  The flowered dresses and maxi dresses and slippers and the Hawaiian inspired outfits. I even told myself, I’m gonna love working there because of the uniform… and the golf car also! Haha!

The landscape of Tadyaw is perfect for photographers and nature lovers. A walk around the mini-zoo that displays some birds, the ducks that walks around the resort, the horses and the cows eating grass, the cheerful monkeys, and a couple ostrich will be kid’s instant favorite.  My nephew, Carl surely enjoyed calling the owls by making a sound of a monkey! Crazy kid! Haha!

Tadyaw also has a Spa and what’s more? The spa is just along the beach, beside the cottages. Talking about some relaxing moment with the cool breeze and warm sun!

Obviously, there’s none so much you could do in a beach but just enjoy the water, have fun bonding with your friends and families. But in Tadyaw, the experience is at a different level.
